Jay is a Principal at Dartmouth Partners, in the Private Equity team, specialising in senior interim finance appointments across private equity portfolio businesses.
He partners with private equity funds, CFOs and finance leaders to identify and secure exceptional interim talent for business-critical leadership roles, with a particular focus on interim CFO and CFO-1 appointments.
Jay began his recruitment career at the age of 19 and has spent more than six years building deep expertise in senior finance recruitment. Having worked across both commerce and industry and the private equity market, he has developed a strong understanding of the challenges faced by PE-backed businesses and the evolving demands of finance leadership. At Dartmouth, he combines market insight with a relationship-led approach, helping clients navigate complex hiring needs while supporting candidates throughout their careers.
Outside of work, Jay enjoys following sport, and spending time with family and friends. Jay is a lifelong Leeds United supporter so understands the true meaning of resilience.
