The Role On the US investment team, you will be a core contributor to deal execution from sourcing through close, gaining broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle. You will be the sole Associate on this lean deal team, working directly with the Partner in NYC, and remotely with the established and well-respected Founder. Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and execute primary and secondary investment opportunities, including financial modeling, IC memo preparation, and due diligenceStructure and negotiate deals, including management of legal documentation with counterpartiesBuild and maintain a strong US network within the VC community to drive proprietary originationSupport investor relations, fund reporting, and capital raising initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile1–4 years of experience as an analyst at a leading investment bank, ideally in a technology group; prior investing experience is a strong plusExceptional financial modeling skills and familiarity with PE/VC fund structuresA self-starter comfortable with autonomy and thriving in an entrepreneurial environment, who has strong communication skillsBachelor's degree with strong quantitative aptitude; must be authorized to work in the USMust be currently living in or open to relocating to New York CityAbility to start ASAPIn addition to good academic performance and strong technical skills, we would love to see people who have standout qualities - maybe you were an athlete, climbed a mountain, worked for a great charitable organisation in your spare time.
