With nearly $1 billion in AUM across multiple flagship funds, this firm has established itself as an early mover and recognized leader in a high-demand niche of private markets – venture capital structured secondaries and special situations investing. The Role
On the US investment team, you will be a core contributor to deal execution from sourcing through close, gaining broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and execute primary and secondary investment opportunities, including financial modeling, IC memo preparation, and due diligence
- Structure and negotiate deals, including management of legal documentation with counterparties
- Build and maintain a strong US network within the VC community to drive proprietary origination
- Support investor relations, fund reporting, and capital raising initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of experience as an analyst at a leading investment bank, ideally in a technology group; prior investing experience is a strong plus
- Exceptional financial modeling skills and familiarity with PE/VC fund structures
- A self-starter comfortable with autonomy and thriving in an entrepreneurial environment, who has strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree with strong quantitative aptitude; must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be currently living in or open to relocating to New York City
- Ability to start ASAP
