This position will report directly to the Head of Investor Relations, Europe and will play an important role in supporting the firm’s global fundraising activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the broader IR team to help coordinate investor engagement efforts across Europe, ensuring the smooth execution of outreach initiatives and fundraising processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the European Investor Relations team in coordinating and executing investor outreach initiatives across multiple European markets.
- Engage with both existing and prospective institutional investors, arranging and facilitating meetings or video conferences to discuss new investment opportunities and understand investor mandates.
- Participate in meetings with potential investors and assist with follow-up actions and documentation.
- Distribute fund marketing materials and supporting documentation ahead of investor meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of fundraising activity by updating and managing data within the firm’s CRM system.
- Prepare detailed briefing notes and background materials for investor meetings and roadshows.
- Manage requests for access to the firm’s virtual data room, including account creation, permission management, and investor communications.
- Assist with investor communications and distribution processes, including building mailing lists, coordinating document watermarking, and recording communications in internal systems.
- Compile and analyse fundraising data to support the preparation of internal reports and updates for senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting tools that track investor engagement, outreach activity, and fundraising progress.
Experience & Qualifications
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in financial services is preferred; exposure to private equity, asset management, or placement advisory would be advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of additional European languages is beneficial but not essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and project coordination skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Open to candidates based in Germany and those in London looking to relocate.
