The Head of IR will be responsible for the full range of activities relating to the investor relations strategy and fund marketing more broadly. This is a rare “first in IR” role that would suit someone who wants to be part of an early-stage private equity firm with huge growth potential and a collegiate team.
Responsibilities will include leading all fundraising activities and managing relationships with LPs in conjunction with the senior management team. The individual will be also design and develop marketing collateral and diligence materials, work with the Finance team to assist in the preparation of investor reporting materials, manage the CRM and take a lead in preparing investor meetings and the AGM.
Ideal candidate profile:
• At least 10+ years’ relevant experience to include significant time in private placement advisory and distribution or IR within the private equity industry.
• Existing LP relationships developed through experience raising capital to include mid-market buy-out strategies.
• Experience presenting to audiences, strategically developing new LP relationships, project managing fundraises and servicing investors.
• A willingness to roll sleeves up and give 100% to all parts of the role.
• Strong personal values, a collegiate approach and a high level of integrity.
