Trading Intern

I am working with a global proprietary trading firm who are looking to hire Junior Traders to join their expanding London team.  You'll be working directly with the trading teams, gaining insight into proprietary methodologies and trading systems. The learning curve will be steep but interns can be expected to start trading within a month.

The London team is still rather lean and this particular division is also much newer, currently being comprised of 15 of them, and therefore you will be able to benefit from the relatively flat organisation structure and work directly with industry leaders.

The goal is for the interns to come onboard the team for a full-time position post the completion of the internship given the expedited growth our client is seeing. 

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining trading models, overseeing and enhancing daily operations, analysing and resolving trade position discrepancies, and spotting new market opportunities.

Desired Experience

• Candidate with a STEM degree from a top UK university

• Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment

• Background/experience in competitive or logical activities

• Trading experience is a plus
