Private Equity Analyst (Climate-Tech)

Responsibilities:
  • Investment process – operate as an integral member on deal teams (e.g., involved on diligence workstreams, building financial models, developing relationship with management team etc).
  • Portfolio management – support more senior members of the team to monitor and analyse performance of portfolio companies.
  • Impact & ESG – work on tracking KPIs, support the creation of an impact report, and engage with portfolio companies on sustainability focused value creation initiatives.
  • Knowledge-building and deal sourcing – conduct thematic deep dives to build team knowledge in areas of thematic interest.
  • Firm building - support internal operations such as financial reporting and fundraising.

Key Requirements:
  • 1-3 years’ work experience in an investment bank or equivalent role where you have developed excellent analytical skills.
  • Deep interest in tackling climate change through technology and innovation.
  • A team player with high integrity who enjoys working with others to build something more than the sum of the parts.
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling and valuation concepts.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with people of various backgrounds, personalities and perspectives.
  • Authorisation to work in London or Amsterdam and the ability to travel.


 

Desired Experience

1-3 years in investment banking, accounting or private equity / venture capital
