A family office focussed on the energy transition space is looking to hire an investment associate. The successful candidate will be able to invest across public and private markets with a view to becoming a specialist in climate tech and energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Tracking the latest in policy, technology, and market dynamics across hydrogen, geothermal, nuclear, bioenergy, carbon capture, renewables, and more
- Evaluate VC and PE fund managers for potential commitments, assessing their track records, strategies, and portfolio alignment
- Perform deep-dive fundamental analysis on listed (public) companies and make investment recommendations
Experience
- 2+ years' experience in asset management, equity research, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field
- Strong analytical capabilities gained through both professional and academic experience
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and technical skills (Excel, DCF modelling)
- Interest in investing and ability to think laterally
