The IR Manager will be the primary point of contact for current and prospective investors, responsible for building strong LP relationships, supporting capital raising, and coordinating investor onboarding and reporting. This role will also contribute to investment execution and funds operations and will report directly to the Fund’s General Partner and CFO, offering broad exposure to both investment and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations & Fundraising
- Manage relationships with the existing LP base (75+ investors), ensuring high-touch communication and responsiveness.
- Support fundraising by developing a structured prospect pipeline (HNWIs, family offices, RIAs, small institutions).
- Prepare investor materials including pitch decks, one-pagers, and quarterly updates.
- Lead investor outreach campaigns, webinars, and one-on-one communications.
- Organize LP events, webinars, and update calls.
- Track fundraising KPIs and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Fund Operations & Transactions Support
- Coordinate LP onboarding: subscription agreements, AML/KYC questionnaires (via CARTA), and side letter compliance with fund counsel.
- Manage investor records and data room access in CARTA.
- Liaise with fund counsel on compliance requirements and regulatory filings
- Support tax and audit coordination by providing information to CPA firm and administrator.
- Assist in preparing quarterly investor reports and performance updates (gathering marks, IRR, DPI, TVPI).
- Support fund launches and closing processes, including LP onboarding and closing binders.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or client services within private equity, venture capital, or asset management.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills, comfortable interacting with sophisticated investors.
- Solid understanding of fund structures, subscription documents, and compliance processes.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple investor relationships simultaneously.
- Experience with fund administration platforms (e.g., CARTA, Juniper Square) preferred.
