A leading OCIO (Outsourced Chief Investment Officer) firm is seeking an Investment Principal to join its Dallas team.
The firm partners with endowments, foundations, universities, and family offices, providing institutional-quality, multi-asset class investment solutions and serving as a fully outsourced CIO function for clients globally.
The Role
The Investment Principal will act as a CIO for a portfolio of clients, leading end-to-end investment strategy, portfolio construction, and client management, while also supporting business development across the Texas market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage bespoke multi-asset class portfolios for institutional and private clients
- Serve as the primary investment lead for client relationships, including portfolio reviews and strategic discussions
- Develop investment strategy using internal research and asset class insights
- Lead business development efforts in Texas, including prospecting, pitching, and RFP processes
- Engage with prospective clients and intermediaries to support firm growth
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Around 8 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, asset management, or a related investment role
- Strong understanding of markets with a genuine passion for investing
- Experience in portfolio construction or multi-asset class investing preferred
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
- Proven ability to operate in a client-facing, relationship-driven environment
