Our client is a North American investment bank with ambitious plans to grow in Europe and the UK. They’re currently looking for an experienced investment banking Associate to join their Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PUI) team in London.
You’ll have the chance to work on a range of corporate finance transactions across the PUI space, whilst gaining excellent internal and external stakeholder exposure.
Responsibilities
- Execution of live sell- and buy-side M&A transactions, as well as a full suite of cross-product work;
- Lead the creation of financial models and perform company valuations;
- Overseeing and leading the creation and preparation of client presentations in support of new business development and transaction execution;
- Developing, analysing, and presenting historical and projected financial information;
- Coordinating and performing business due diligence;
- Overseeing the preparation of confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations;
- Attend client meetings build and maintain client relationships
Experience
Prior experience in another investment bank is a pre-requisite, with at least a year of experience operating at the Associate level (as defined as someone with c. 4+ years of corporate finance experience.Exposure to the PUI sector is not mandatory, but certainly preferred given the specific nature of the transactions.
