A leading multi-strategy hedge fund wants to add an equity trader to their team. The trader will work within the equities team but also have responsibilities across other teams, including tradiing, structuring, and providing market colour.
Responsibilities
- Execute and manage positions across different equity strategies
- Structure and price derivative solutions aligned with investment objectives and risk management needs
- Deliver best execution and build trusted network of brokers and counterparties to gather timely market intelligence around single stock positions and broader markets
- Support ongoing improvements to execution systems, trading processes, and best practices
- Prepare and present trade summaries, market updates, and performance reviews to internal stakeholders
Experience
- 1-3 years' experience in an equity trading role on the buy- or sell-side
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong academic background, ideally with a degree in a STEM subject
