| Accountabilities: Deal Origination - Perform industry research and identify potential acquisition targets
- Build and maintain target lists aligned with the Sector businesses and the Group Corporate Development team
- Approach owners of agreed targets and build trusted relationships, to position firm as a buyer of choice
- Maintain documentation and reporting related to corporate development activities
Deal Execution - Support the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions, conducting financial modelling and valuation analyses
- Track deal progress and ensure timelines and deliverables are met
- Coordinate internal and external parties during transaction execution
- Prepare investment and cases and presentations for senior leadership
Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with the Corporate Development team and our businesses to define the pipelines, manage the targets and deliver smooth transaction processes.
- Work closely with internal teams and co-ordinate as necessary (Finance, Legal, Strategy, HR, Operations) during transaction processes, ensuring a good line of communication between all parties.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including investment banks, advisors, and consultants
- Prepare materials for Executive team meetings and senior leadership discussions.
