James is the Director of CFO and Board Practice at Dartmouth. He focuses on partnering with Private Equity Funds in appointing Financial Officers and Non-Executive Directors into Private Equity Portfolio Companies.
Before joining Dartmouth in 2023, James spent nine years with a Global Executive Search and Board Consulting firm in Australia and their EMEA Business in London. During this time, he supported listed and private equity-backed clients across Resources, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Financial Services and FinTechs. And lead on CFO, Corporate Development and M&A leadership search engagements and succession planning.
James gained his degree in Sports Science from Anglia University. Outside of work, he is kept busy by his two young sons. He is usually found on the touchline of their sports teams at weekends or cutting a frustrated figure at his local golf course.
