Darren Sookramanien

Darren is Chief Financial Officer at Dartmouth, where he brings a unique mix of leadership, sector expertise, financial and operational business excellence as well as experience of scaling and growing businesses within a Private Equity environment.

Prior to joining Dartmouth, Darren spent 12 years as part of a highly innovative leadership team within the staffing sector, successfully creating value through three Private Equity investment cycles. His experience includes supporting business growth both in the UK and internationally, integrating acquisitions within the recruitment sector as well as working on a number of change and transformation projects. During this time, Darren built a high performing Finance operations function to support the wider strategic growth agenda encompassing strategic business planning, strong working capital management and creating a reporting framework for robust decision making.

Darren spent his early career working in two publicly listed companies as well as working with an US/UK joint-venture. This enabled him to gain valuable expertise in business operating best practice, governance, control and risk management within large multinational and multisite operations, which have been invaluable in providing a robust framework to support fast growth companies in the private arena.
