We sat down with Cassandra Rivilla Lutterkort, Director at Pemberton to discuss her journey into private credit and gain insight into a career in the industry. We also discuss the changing shift towards creating diverse teams and her advice on how to make your mark in private credit, even if you don’t have it all figured out as a graduate.

Cassie is a Director in the Origination team at Pemberton covering the UK and Ireland. She is responsible for originating new investment opportunities while evaluating credit, conducting diligence and negotiating transaction terms and documentation.

She joined Pemberton in 2018 and during that time she has made 30 investments worth over €3bn. Before that she was a Vice President in RBS’s Leveraged Finance group between 2011 and 2018. At RBS, she originated and led numerous transactions across Europe in the leveraged space for both corporates and sponsor-owned assets in the leveraged loan and high-yield bond syndicated markets.
