Senior Associate or Vice President, Debt Advisory

Our client advises lower and core middle market private equity sponsors on debt structures in the context of new financings for M&A activity,  refinancings and restructurings. This team has awesome deal flow and the opportunity provides significant client- and lender-facing exposure. 

As a Senior Associate or VP, you would be responsible for running a significant portion of the execution of debt advisory mandates. You'll be responsible for leading and supervising juniors in production of pitch materials and financial modelling. You will be expected to take a lead in lender Q&A as well as documentation negotiation. As a VP, you'd be expected to be able to come up with an initial view on potential deal structures and interact significantly with sponsor clients and lenders. 

This is an entrepreneurial and ambitious environment, and you should want to and be capable of accelerating beyond your level "on paper". 

Desired Experience

Candidates should ideally come from a Debt Advisory / Debt Placement / Capital Advisory team, or otherwise a Sponsor Finance group.

Key Elements of the Role

* Participate in origination activities, including beginning to develop your own external network. * Significant involvement in execution of debt advisory mandates, including negotiation of terms.
