Principal - Private Debt

This private credit group provides debt and structured equity to lower middle market sponsor-backed and sponsorless companies. The team is part of a big brand in private equity and in the early stages of growing the team. They already have dry powder and have closed two investments with a number of others under LOI.
There are a number of features that give this team a competitive advantage: track record of fundraising ability and strong returns through different parts of the cycle, origination capability through relationships and tenure in the market, advanced systems and data analytics. Responsibilities

Fully manage underwriting of new investments, including managing a junior and running all docs negotiation. Participate in the development of this nascent team as required. Portfolio management of investments post-close. Origination aptitude is a plus.
