Junior Investment Associate: Restructuring and Carve-Out Specialist

Are you passionate about mergers and acquisitions and restructuring? Join our client's investment team and play a pivotal role in the acquisition of medium-sized companies across the DACH region in special situations:

• M&A Process: Take ownership and actively support the investment team throughout the entire M&A process, with a focus on restructuring and carve-outs.

• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence activities during company acquisitions and sales. Your attention to detail will be crucial.

• Financial Modeling: Prepare and validate integrated financial models and business plans. Your analytical skills will drive informed decisions.

• Market Analysis: Dive into various industries—analyze markets, competition, and business models. Your insights will guide investment strategies.

• Strategic Planning: Develop growth strategies, action plans, and cost reduction strategies. Your recommendations will shape our client's success.

• Decision Papers: Craft clear and concise decision papers for executive review.

• Financial Analysis: Analyze company data, including balance sheets and P&L statements.

• Negotiations: Participate in negotiations with confidence and finesse.
   

Desired Experience

2-3 years experience in corporate finance, Private Equity or consulting with knowledge of complex transaction structures (e.g. special situations and carve-outs). Fluent German and English skills are essential for this role.

Key Elements of the Role

Analysing new M&A investment opportunities across DACH with a focus on companies in special situations, such as restructuring or carve-outs. Involvement in the full end-to-end deal execution through marketing, structuring, negotiation and execution. Preparation of documents for the Investment committee. Financial modelling.
