Investment Banking Associate (GP Advisory)

This is an opportunity to join one of the market-leading franchises advising private equity firms, founders and management teams on GP stakes transactions.

The team advises clients on a broad range of GP-led strategic initiatives, including minority stake sales, GP recapitalisations, succession planning and broader strategic advisory assignments.

Successful candidates will join a highly collaborative team with significant exposure to senior decision-makers across some of the world’s leading private equity firms.

Responsibilities: 
 

• Execute GP Advisory transactions from origination through to completion
• Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and transaction documentation
• Conduct market research and analyse trends across the alternative asset management landscape
• Coordinate due diligence processes and manage multiple transaction workstreams simultaneously
• Work directly with senior bankers and clients throughout live mandates

We are interested in speaking with candidates from a range of relevant backgrounds, including:

• Investment Banking (M&A, Financial Sponsors, Strategic Advisory or broader private markets teams)
• GP Advisory platforms
• Valuations practices with strong exposure to alternative asset managers and private equity firms

Ideal candidates will have 3-7 years of relevant experience.
