Investment Banking Analyst – Generalist M&A

Responsibilities

• Valuation Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive valuation analyses, including discounted cash flows, relative valuations, asset valuations, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
  • Navigate spreadsheets and financial models to assess deal profitability.

• Market Research:

  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and relevant financial news.
  • Gather data to inform investment decisions and M&A strategies.

• Financial Modelling:

  • Create and implement financial models to review potential deals.
  • Analyse financial statements, projections, and other relevant data.

• Pitch Books and Presentations:

  • Prepare pitch books and presentations for client meetings.

• Transaction Support:

  • Assist in preparing legal and financial documents related to M&A transactions.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, investment bankers, and other stakeholders.

• Due Diligence:

  • Participate in due diligence processes for M&A deals.

Experience

The individual would ideally have at least 2-3 years of full-time experience (excluding internships) working on global M&A deals.

Solid technical foundation: DCF, 3-Statements and LBO  model
Fluency in English and any of the following European Languages: 
-French, Portuguese, Spanish, German or Nordic
