Our client, a middle-market private equity firm focused on control investments across business services, consumer, and industrial sectors, is seeking an Investment Associate to join its Miami team. Key Responsibilities
Lead financial modeling, valuation, and return analyses across new investment opportunities.
Conduct market mapping, competitive landscape analysis, and thematic research to support thesis development.
Source and evaluate potential investments; prepare and present materials for internal discussions.
Manage workstreams across due diligence—including financial, commercial, and operational analyses—in coordination with external advisors and senior team members.
Support transaction execution, including term sheet review, capital structure design, and closing documentation.
Partner with portfolio company management teams on post-investment value-creation initiatives and performance tracking.
Prepare investment committee materials, quarterly portfolio reports, and performance summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain CRM, sourcing pipeline, and deal-tracking systems with detailed reporting and process discipline.
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
Strong technical and financial modeling skills; deep understanding of LBO mechanics and valuation principles.
Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated interest in building and growing middle-market businesses.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics.
