Investment Analyst

A boutique Long Only Fund based in London is seeking an Investment Analyst to join their dynamic team. The firm follows a long-term, high-conviction investment strategy, focusing on the European small to mid-cap (SMID) space with a private equity-style approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of potential investment opportunities, with a focus on the EU SMID cap sector.
• Build detailed financial models and perform due diligence on target companies.
• Collaborate with the investment team on idea generation and portfolio management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of public market trends and industry developments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-4 years of experience in transaction services, auditing, investment banking, or equity research.
• ACA or CFA qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, with proven financial modeling skills.
• A demonstrable passion for public markets and a high level of intellectual curiosity.
