Investment Advisory Analyst/Associate (German Speaking)

A leading investment advisory firm covering the alternatives market is looking to bring on a portfolio advisor associate to join their team in London/Switzerland. 

The successful candidate will work closely with other senior team members to research, analyse and evaluate investment opportunities across a range of alternatives strategies.

Requirements for this role:

• 2-5 years of experience in an asset manager, covering alternative strategies
• Excellent communication skills, with a preference for candidates who have experience in client management and pitching and cold calling
• Strong academic background from a top-tier university.
• Must be able to speak German and English fluently

Responsibilities

• Supporting business development and outreach efforts in German-speaking regions, including organizing logistics for roadshows, conferences, and preparing meeting notes.

• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of marketing materials.

• Coordinating client-focused projects across teams, including research, asset class specialists, legal/compliance, and client operations.

• Gathering, organizing, and tracking prospective client information.

• Assisting with client meeting preparation, including creating presentations, proposals, pacing materials, strategic plans, data rooms, and other ad-hoc tasks.

• Continuously building expertise in alternative strategies and investment opportunities to better support clients in achieving their specific goals.

Desired Experience

2-5 years of experience in an asset manager, covering alternative strategies ie. Hedge Funds, PE, Credit, Commodities, etc. 

Must be able to speak German and English fluently
