The firm is looking for a self-starter, highly motivated, bright candidate who possess a strong desire to develop understanding of the Infrastructure industry, the key investors and their evolving investment programmes, to join its IR team.
The IR Associate is expected to perform at a high level and take the initiative to come up to speed quickly assuming increasing levels of responsibility. He/she can expect a broad exposure to all aspects of the Investor Relations and fundraising process.
Responsibilities
- Assessing investor appetite and compiling target lists
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date investor profiles
- Tracking the status of each potential investor in the fundraising process
- Disseminating marketing and research information
- Support to establish a CRM database to coordinate and track investor interest.
- Preparing marketing and due diligence materials and ad hoc information, including data analysis, for existing and potential investors
- Liaising with other departments to answer detailed queries.
- Planning investor roadshows
Experience
- Good communication and organizational/project management skills
- Attention to detail, strong spelling, grammar and proof-reading skills.
- Clear and concise writing skills
- Strong ability to understand, analyse and interpret financial data and statistics (Analyst training in an investment bank or audit company)
- Ability to think creatively.
- Engaging personality well-suited for investor contact
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Strong MS office skills, especially Excel, Word and Power Point
- A high degree of dedication
- IR experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Fluency in a European Language
First academic degree (BA/MA); preferably in commerce/finance
