Overview:
Our client, a healthcare-focused growth equity investment firm, is seeking an Investment Associate to join a lean, entrepreneurial team investing across the healthcare services, technology, and infrastructure landscape. The firm partners with innovative companies addressing key challenges in healthcare delivery, access, and efficiency, with a focus on long-term value creation and measurable impact.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed industry research, financial analysis, and valuation work to support investment theses.
Participate in the sourcing, screening, and due diligence of new investment opportunities.
Build and maintain financial models, including growth projections, scenario analyses, and return sensitivities.
Support transaction execution and post-investment value creation initiatives alongside senior team members.
Prepare investment memoranda, portfolio reviews, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with management teams and advisors to track key performance metrics and identify value-creation opportunities.
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or management consulting (healthcare experience preferred).
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a small, high-performance team.
Intellectual curiosity and passion for innovation within healthcare and health services.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA a plus.
