Healthcare Growth Equity Investment Associate

Overview:
Our client, a healthcare-focused growth equity investment firm, is seeking an Investment Associate to join a lean, entrepreneurial team investing across the healthcare services, technology, and infrastructure landscape. The firm partners with innovative companies addressing key challenges in healthcare delivery, access, and efficiency, with a focus on long-term value creation and measurable impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed industry research, financial analysis, and valuation work to support investment theses.

  • Participate in the sourcing, screening, and due diligence of new investment opportunities.

  • Build and maintain financial models, including growth projections, scenario analyses, and return sensitivities.

  • Support transaction execution and post-investment value creation initiatives alongside senior team members.

  • Prepare investment memoranda, portfolio reviews, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with management teams and advisors to track key performance metrics and identify value-creation opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or management consulting (healthcare experience preferred).

  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a small, high-performance team.

  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for innovation within healthcare and health services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA a plus.

Own financial modeling and valuation; conduct market mapping and thesis work; source and screen deals; lead diligence workstreams; draft investment materials and present to IC; support transaction execution; partner with portfolio teams on value creation; track performance and reporting; maintain CRM/pipeline and market intelligence; and uphold process rigor, documentation, and compliance
