The Head of IR will be responsible for the full range of activities relating to the investor relations strategy and fund marketing more broadly. This is a rare “first in IR” role that would suit someone who wants to be part of a young private equity firm with huge growth potential and a very tight-knit collegiate team. Should be motivated by a long-term biased compensation scheme.
Responsibilities
This is a hybrid project management, client servicing and fundraising role. Responsibilities will include:- Responsible for all marketing and diligence materials
- Dealing with investor requests and preparing detailed investor reporting materials
- Mapping and prospecting new investors, including managing the CRM
- Organising the AGM and LPAC meetings, as well as preparing all materials
- Managing web and social media posts
Experience
- The ideal individual will be VP or Director level in their existing firm with at least 10+ years’ experience in the industry to include time in a private placement firm or IR in a private equity fund
- Must have been through at least one full fundraise and, whilst a "black book" is not essential, must have a strong familiarity with the global LP landscape and a track record of managing relationships and presenting to audiences
- Top tier educational background
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong project management skills with a good eye for improving investor communications
- A willingness to roll sleeves up and work with a high level of integrity
