Our client is a leading international investment bank, providing a comprehensive range of financial services to clients worldwide.
Position Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join their Consumer, Retail & Leisure team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, with a strong track record of executing transactions and providing strategic advice to clients. We are not looking for individuals at the senior analyst level at this time.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of M&A and financing transactions.
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and modeling.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and pitch materials to clients.
- Perform industry and company research to support transaction execution and business development.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Experience
- Experience in investment banking at the Associate level, preferably within the consumer, retail, and leisure sectors.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
