Commodities Associate (3+ years of experience)

Our client is a longstanding leader in the supply chain industry operating across the food, beverage and energy supplies chain. With global offices and a team of over 380, the team are currently looking to take on new members into their London team focusing on Food Ingredients & Packaging. 

As an Associate, you will be responsible for pulling together successful trades through coordination and communication across different business divisions including operations, credit, compliance. Your role will range from requesting pirce from suppliers, exporing new market opportunities, evaluating freight options and ensuring you are effectively crafting contracts to drive the business forward. 

Responsibilities

- Support in the daily management of contracts. - Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful trade executions. - Partner with global trading teams to uncover new opportunities. - Contribute to the expansion of our client’s product portfolio.

Desired Experience

- A Masters' degree in a relevant subject. - Minimum three years of experience in a relevant field. - Candidates should have business level fluency in English and a bonus if they speak another language.
