Associate - Senior Associate Private Credit

Our client is an established alternative investment firm with an excellent reputation and track record of investing in credit, control and minority equity. 

Their private credit group provides debt and structured equity to lower middle market sponsor-backed and sponsorless companies. There are a number of features that give this team a competitive advantage: track record of fundraising ability and strong returns through different parts of the cycle, origination capability through relationships and tenure in the market, advanced systems and data analytics. Responsibilities

* Participate in origination and underwriting of new investments * Portfolio management of existing investments (including taking board observer seats and running restructurings where relevant) * Contributing to the growth of the team more generally via a range of activities

Desired Experience

At Senior Associate level, we are looking for candidates with 3-4 years' total experience, some gained within a private credit investing position. At Associate level, we are looking for 1-2 years' total experience gained in investment banking, credit or equity investing.
