A Boston-based private equity firm focused on growth equity and lower middle market investments within healthcare and life sciences. The firm partners with founder-led and entrepreneur-driven businesses across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and healthcare services.
Role Overview
This role sits at the top of the investment funnel, supporting sourcing and origination efforts while working closely with both the investment and portfolio teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted industry research across healthcare and life sciences sectors to identify prospective investment opportunities
- Build and maintain company pipelines, including tracking and qualifying inbound and outbound opportunities
- Support outreach efforts to founders, executives, and intermediaries (bankers, advisors)
- Assist in screening new opportunities, including high-level business analysis and market mapping
- Collaborate with investment professionals on live deal flow and strategic initiatives
- Help prepare internal materials and CRM updates to track sourcing activity
Candidate Profile
- Undergraduate student graduating in 2027 (rising junior)
- Demonstrated interest in private equity, healthcare, or life sciences
- Strong analytical and research skills, with high attention to detail
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with interest in sourcing and relationship-driven work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage externally
