What to expect

We receive thousands of applications for every role and our selection process is notoriously rigorous – that’s how we consistently find the best and brightest for our elite business clients.

1. Connect with Dartmouth

Where it all begins – the crucial first step. You’ll come directly to us, we’ll receive your job application, or we’ll seek you out through our network and invite you to apply.


2. Meet our team

If selected, you’ll be invited to meet one of our specialist consultants. We’ll take time to get to know you, understand your goals, and assess your fit for current vacancies.


3. Testing

Graduate candidates will sit a range of tests, including English and Maths tests. Bespoke to the needs of each client, these assessments are extremely demanding. Psychometric tests are used too.


4. Client reviews your CV

If we determine that you’re potentially right for the role, we’ll share your CV with our client. They’ll then assess you in terms of experience, skills and fit.


5. Client interviews

If successful, we’ll book in a first interview or a series of interviews. You’ll also receive a pre-interview briefing from our specialists, to ensure the best outcome for everyone.


6. Your offer

If you come out on top, congratulations! We’ll liaise between you and your new employer throughout the offer stage, as well as checking in with you during onboarding and once you’ve settled.


7. Ongoing support

Our specialists are always on hand, ready to share up-to-date market insights and advice on how best to succeed in your current role, or a new role.
